Vintage drum sounds, with a classic interface for step-based loop programming.

Unlike most other software drum machines, the XR-909 models the intricacies of each drum sound, using individual circuitry emulations for each. This also means that each type of drum sound has it's own set of controls, tailored to adjust the relevant parameters of each specific drum circuit.

While it has it's own step-sequencer built in, for quick and easy programming of a simple drumloop, it also integrates with Orion's sequencer, allowing for adjustment of individual beat velocities - and accurate, rather than step-based beat timing.

In Orion Pro and Orion Platinum, a special version of the XR-909 is also available, in which the 10 drum tracks are routed to individual channels on the Mixer.
